Ilit Azoulay, graduate of the Department of Photography and graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program, will present her work "The Keys" at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Azoulay has the privilege of joining an impressive collection of groundbreaking artworks by various artists. She deals with the unconventional use of everyday objects to build the walls of a house, a practice that was common during the austerity period after the establishment of the State of Israel.

Azoulay operates in Berlin and exhibits in some of the most important museums and exhibition spaces in the world. In her work she combines photography, digital and multi-layered creation, including historical and anthropological studies. It refers to the shelf life of the existing national narratives, and relates them to the material longevity and the meaning found in the diverse nature of the remains extracted from their original environment.
