The AIT (Adidas innovation team) group has created many amazing innovations that continually push the boundaries of performance products, including the adidas_1 -- a running shoe that can "sense" and adapt to different surface conditions to optimize comfort and support and the World Cup soccer ball that has a sensor located in the center capable of detecting if the ball crosses the goal line
 
Bio
Scott is concerned with simple narratives that fuse technology and culture into meaningful product experiences. Within Adidas, Scott is a member of the innovation team which fuels the brand with new technology stories by uncovering consumer insights from sports research and professional trainers. Projects are designed to create and drive disruptive product for the company within the industry. Examples include the 2006 official world cup match ball, and the adidas_1 running shoe, which senses, understands and adapts. Scott has worked within the roles of Industrial Design, Footwear design, User experience design, service design, across different markets including sport performance, consumer electronics, industrial product and contract furniture. Previously at Ziba Design, strategic innovation consultants in Portland Oregon, Scott was a senior and lead designer connecting the dots for Umpqua Bank, Logitec and Microsoft. Scott has also worked with Sony in Japan on sustainability and with IDEO in Boston. Scott studied in England at Northumbria University in Newcastle graduating with a first class honors degree

Bio
Previously Bill founded intelligent design, a multi-disciplinary design firm that creates inspired collaborative interior solutions. The intelligent design team provides vision, research, sourcing and strategy for interior and exterior spaces, atmosphere definition and brand integration in the corporate realm
 
Bill lectures on green thinking and design trend at conferences, universities and schools globally
 
Prior to starting his own organizations Bill designed and managed teams at furniture companies Herman Miller and Haworth
 
Bill holds a dual major Bachelors in Interior Architecture and Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts, studied for his Masters of Architecture at the University of Hawaii and earned his MBA from the University of Oregon’s OEMBA
 
Bill serves his community on the Board of Directors of the Architecture and Design Museum of Los Angeles and the Academic Advisory Committee of the Art Institute of Portland

Lecture Topic: Hybrid solar generation
 
Prof. Ezri Tarazi is a leading designer, theoretician, and educator. He founded Tarazi studio in 1996 after managing design projects at Bezalel R&D Company. From 1998 to 2001 he was a partner at IDEO Israel, an affiliated office of the famous Palo Alto based design company
Between 1996-2004 Ezri was the chair of the industrial design program at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. In 2002 he founded the Masters Program in Industrial Design (M.Des), and in 2005 he founded a Masters Program in Design Management. He is also a member of the High Education Council in Israel. In 2004 Ezri Tarazi founded the Israeli Design Center, and in 2005 he founded dVision, internship program for industrial designers for Keter Group. In his design studio Ezri worked for major companies in Israel and international brands
 In his experimental design work he have shown in galleries and museums all over the world. He has also curated several design exhibitions. This year, he was elected to show in the Triennially of design ‘why design now?’ at the National Design Museum Cooper Hewitt in NY. His work Z20 for ZenithSolar also elected to the first prize of the Ministry of Industry of Israel and I.D. magazine annual review

Dan Ram return to Israel after spending 4 years living and working in Tokyo designing cars for Infiniti and Nissan Advance design, and 4 years in London working with Philippe Starck on various products like: Watches collection, EB electric bicycle, concept motorcycle and concept Puma store among the others, working for Samsung Design Europe in London on future mobile concepts and IDEO Tel Aviv and London
Dan is Royal College of Art graduate MA Vehicle Design sponsored by Fiat and BArch Industrial Design, Bezalel Academy Jerusalem
 
After meeting with Shay Agassi, Dan decided to join Better Place and to be in charge on its Design & User experience

Noam served as design manager at modu during its nascent years. In this capacity he led the design content of the company and managed, concept to production, the internal and outsourced design of modu1 and jackets, in Israel and globally. Noam is active connecting entrepreneurs to design, in promoting inter-disciplinary work with design and in consulting companies in planning and integrating design into their organizations. Noam is currently completing his MBA studies at IDC and is a teaching assistant for business strategy at the IDC

Previously Adlai founded Adlai Design, a design consultancy of McCann Erickson Group later to become FutureBrand Israel, the representative of the global branding consultancy FutureBrand Worldwide. Prior to starting his own organizations Adlai worked as art director in Tokyo, Japan, at Shiseido's Advertising Division and Global Marketing Group, in charge of international campaigns for numerous Shiseido brands
 
Adlai teaches packaging design and branding courses at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, visual communication department and is guest lecturer on branding and design at Bar Ilan University and Tel Aviv University - MBA Program
 
Adlai holds a Bachelors degree with honors in Visual Communication from Bezalel Academy and studied for his Masters of Design in Japan, holding a MBA with honors from Aichi Prefectural University of Art and Music. Adlai is among the founders and former member of the managing committee – Israeli Community of Designers

Adlai has received international design awards and his work has appeared in numerous International, professional publications
