Nelin Valentina

Valentina Nelin, M.Arch., LL.B. Master of Architecture, School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. Bachelor of Law, Faculty of Law, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Valentina is a qualified, registered lawyer, specializing in property and environmental protection law, with a degree in environmental architectural design. She has been working in the field of Green Building and Sustainable Planning in Israel for the last 15 years. She acts as Design Consultant for certification of building projects according to the Israeli Green Building Standard 5281, and originally participated in development of this standard on behalf of the Ministry of Environment. She is author of text-books: “Ecological Planning” and “Construction Law” (in Hebrew). She has participated as planner/designer/consultant in a number of significant Green Building Projects in Israel, including: 11 Shai Agnon Street residential project Jerusalem, Renovation of historical Han al-Umdan Acre, General Plan for Pat Intersection Jerusalem, Wild Flower Sanctuary and Visitors Centre Jerusalem, Eco Thermal Bricks.
