Curiosity and desire to create are two qualities that characterize artists and designers. Curiosity is manifested in the question "how will matter, space, or image react to manipulation?" The desire to create is the profound need to turn inspiration into tangible form. For over one hundred years Bezalel has served as the temple of those possessing curiosity and desire to create.
Over the years they have been the leaders in the fields of art and design in Israel. Their works touch the lives of every one of us through buildings, print and electronic media, jewelry and fashion, simple and complex products, and during every visit to the museum, the gallery, and the theater.
The department of continuing education was created with the stated purpose to expose the general and professional public to the wealth of knowledge and creativity existent within the walls of Bezalel. The department offers the general public theoretical courses as well as hands-on workshops in a wide range of subjects. For the professional public, the department provides courses that allow for an update in professional developments and the enhancement of skills.
Bezalel is opening its gates and inviting all who wish to fulfill their curiosity and desire to create to take part in the courses and workshops that the department of continuing education is offering.
