Multidisciplinary Courses
The multidisciplinary courses will take place in Semesters A and B on Wednesday afternoons, following "High Noon", between 14:30 and 17:30. The list of multidisciplinary courses has been compiled especially for this framework, and is updated from year to year. Since 2005, all students in their third year have been obligated to take one multidisciplinary course. Students who were in exchange programs during 2007 are obligated to take a multidisciplinary course in 2008. Fourth year students are invited to join the multidisciplinary courses on the basis of an opening. Each semestrial course is worth 2 credits. Registration for these courses will be done during the computerized registration period. Changes may be made in the first two weeks of each semester.
Bidisciplinary Courses
Beginning with the 2008 scholastic year, third year students (and fourth year architecture students) are obligated to take one bidisciplinary course out of the elective courses offered in the department.
The bidisciplinary courses will take place in the first semester on Wednesday afternoons, after "Noontime", between 14:30 and 17:30. The list of bidisciplinary courses has been compiled especially for this new framework, and it is updated from year to year. Fourth year students are welcome to participate in the bidisciplinary courses on the basis of an opening. Each semestrial course is worth 2 credits. Registration for these courses is carried out during the computerized registration period. Changes may be made in the first two weeks of each semester. Students who are out on exchange programs during the 2008 scholastic year are exempt from this obligation.
Basic Courses
Basic courses are specialized courses in the different departments, intended for second year students only, while each course is worth 2 credits. The courses will take place in the second semester on Wednesday afternoons, after "High Noon", between 14:30 and 17:30 and they are not specified as mandatory courses of the department. The list of courses has been compiled especially for this new framework, and it is updated from year to year. Registration for these courses is carried out during the computerized registration period. Changes may be made in the first two weeks of each semester.
