How to reinvigorate Jessie Cohen’s Public Space? In fact, more than 30% of the neighborhood is open lots; occupied by thematical gardens, empty green parks, or abandoned plots. Totally disconnected from Jessie Cohen’s urban fabric, the project aims to recreate a new urban design, based on a rhizomatic network of those open public spaces. Connecting them all together, the new rhizomatic project provide the inhabitants with the opportunity of taking part in their urban life. Hence, the program does not impose any kind of activity, but offers flexibility and several structures for the initiatives of each one.
