The studio looks at the role of material as a cornerstone for creative design action. We will be focused on observation, creative problem framing and context formation skills. We will observe and analyze the qualities of materials, their sensorial experience and interface in a cultural context. Throughout the studio we will practice the methodology of "Thinking by Making"- researshing through making and experiencing hands- on! How to work with inspiration, how to build a helpful mood-board, how to achieve new and exciting insights how to bring thoughts into creative actions, how to see a problem as potential, how to listen and observe- all are part of our exploration.
