Industrial Design (B. Des)

The course will be held as part of a collaboration with the Cargal factory, which produces cardboard and packaging products for the local market. During the course we will discuss the potential of the material, explore the possibilities of using it, open up creative lines of thought and offer innovative uses of cardboard based on its unique properties. It will be possible to offer new approaches to packaging, or to develop the use of cardboard in other products where its benefits can be 'celebrated'. We will visit the factory and tour the production lines. Cargal representatives will provide the students with information on the properties of the material, the technological possibilities that exist in this industry, and will provide materials and technical support as needed. Cargal will award a scholarship to outstanding project (s).
