Entrepreneurship by design thinking

The entrepreneurial world is constantly searching for the next big thing. Entrepreneurs and investors are looking for brilliant ideas that might change the world and create a significant business value; An opportunity that comes from a real unmet need. Design entrepreneurs use their unique tools and way of thinking to define the problem and to develop an innovative, design-based solution. As technology is not a barrier anymore, design entrepreneurs become major players in the startup scene and their ideas become more applicable.

The course will demonstrate the process of building a new design led startup by understanding the value of design-founders and by experiencing the whole process of research, development and design of a new product using design thinking methods, development of an innovative business model, writing a business plan and pitching to investors.
