In this course we will spread a wide range of Islamic artistic works of visual art in various fields, such as: secular and religious architecture, miniature art, painting and calligraphy; In addition, we will deal with the field of decorated manuscripts containing miniatures from the Middle Ages, with an emphasis on the connection between text and painting. These topics are designed to provide students with a critical look at the material Islamic culture in all its branches, during various periods of Islamic rule. This course is intended to provide a new perspective of Islamic art and culture and of ways of using cultural and ideological knowledge.
