Talia Keinan

Talia Keinan is an interdisciplinary artist whose work combines painting, drawing, sculpture, video, and sound. In her exhibitions, the boundaries between mediums are blurred, creating autonomous spaces with their own rhythm and a unique sense of time and light.
Drawing is the foundation of her work, a daily practice that draws in images and experiences from everyday life, and is the basis for her research on images and observation. In her video works, Keinan uses light as a physical material, as a continuous present that is always changing. She explores the encounter of light with
different materials. Movement, rhythm, presence, appearance, and disappearance are all qualities of the image in her works. She is a graduate of the Art Department and the MFA program at Bezalel. She has won numerous awards, including the Kiefer Prize, the Young Artist Award, the Gottesdiener Prize, the Israeli Ministry of Culture Award for Encouragement of Creativity, and the ArtPort Scholarship. She has held many solo exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including at the Tel Aviv Museum, the Herzliya Museum, and the Goch Museum in Germany.
