Research and Development course

Mandatory for second- and third-year students in the field of glass, at the Ceramics and Glass Department. The course imparted research and practice methods in the field of glass, in collaboration with the History and Theory Department and a lecturer from in the field of the history ancient glass. During this course students are expected to develop a practical research in the field of glass, as well as document it in a reflective text. The course follows steps of understanding what is a research question, how to employ a practical research, how to create a research about the context of their research topic, and organizing their results and conclusions in writing. This Course emphasize the possibility of students in the Department to develop not only as Artists\Designers, but also as critical writers and curators , who will be able to integrate in the field of Art and Design.
