Title Design for Cinema and Television

Opening titles are more than just a list of credits, a good title sequence leads the audience excited and in readiness. It is a sophisticated short independent body of work, that manages to condense and deliver an atmosphere, an idea, a style of a film / series, and is located in critical minutes - a beginning and an end. Typographic design combining with motion and sound obtains a dynamic dialogue. Multiplicity of options and the complexity of doing - require focus and control. During the semester course by creating a title sequence, we will learn how to incorporate all of these elements - concept, through design screens, editing and typography in motion on a timeline with sound.
