Web Design - The Format-less Medium

The web browser is the main portal to all of the content we consume in the digital medium. On our laptops, mobile phones and even smart watches. Web design is a multidisciplinary challenge the combines graphic design, typography, illustration, image making, video and sound. It relays on the basic markup and styling tools (HTML & CSS) and became a main expression tool for leading contemporary designers. The course deals with the role of the designer as the master of these tools. What was only a few years ago the sole domain of developers is now in the hands of designers and became a tool to create new and unique experiences. In this course we will learn and experience in all of the design aspects of this medium, from choosing a grid to user experience. The course is not a technical course and doesn’t require any previous knowledge. It’s for all future designers and illustrators that want to impact the infinite space of the internet.
