Collaborationists

The archeological site ‘City of David’ in the Silwan neighborhood contains archeological layers from the beginning of Jerusalem's existence to the present day: a long and complex history, of different peoples and traditions, stories about wars and life side by side. But, only a small part of this history is displayed on the site itself.

As with any archeological site in Israel, antiquities and finds pointed to the legacy and heritage of the various nations and cultures, but often archeological sites and archeological remains are used as a tool for political influence, manipulation of content, and the way they present and uncover history.
