Do financial considerations hinder creativity? Can art and design shape the economy? Is there such a thing as economic art? What happens to creators (artists and designers) in the world of work? Who dominates the creative industries? These are just some of the thought-provoking questions that will be explored in this course. Through an engaging journey, we will delve into the world of economics, business, and entrepreneurship, with particular focus on the creative industries and the industries that rely on creativity. Along the way, we will gain insights into the art scene in Israel and worldwide, examine the economic aspects or art and design, and familiarize ourselves with various support channels ((entrepreneurship, collaborative models, calls for proposals, budgets building, budgets utilizing, artist residency programs, etc.), and opportunities available to artists and designers.
