Nature based solutions (NBS) in urban design

The NBS workshop will focus on basic understanding of urban ecology and how NBS can lead to a better tackel climate and social challenges in our expanding cities. Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world is leading in experimental and innovative nature based solutions in the urban arena. The workshop will focus on urban design and the potential interface with sustainable natural or artificial natural systems. The workshop will combine lectures by leading specialists, field trips, and practical exercises.
