Form Functioning Structure is a basic practical course in 3D. Through this course we shall test the various fundamental principles of the 3D visual language and how it expresses itself in the morphological and functional fields. In every session we will present an exercise on a subject demonstrating a different 3D aspect. The students will be asked to cope with the issues of structure, function and communication characteristics of the object. The exercises included will either be progressively interrelated or each one unique while the aspect stressed in each semester will vary although developed from the preceding one . In Semester A the stress is mainly on morphology and consequently the activity is on cardboard applications. In semester B the activity is extended to other media through which we could demonstrate the effect of the material on the total 3D expressive form.
