Personal Handwriting

The course is intended for anyone who wants to develop personal drawing, as part of their illustration or design language. It deals with the relationship between illustration and drawing, focusing on drawing as a tool for documentation, reference to text, or as a means of personal, expressive and poetic expression. In order to enrich the personal handwriting, the course will enable the use of various formats and techniques. In addition, different modes of visual interpretation will be examined. The work will be done as a practical workshop in and out of the classroom, simultaneously with the work to be done at home. The course emphasizes the independence and freedom of action of students - in the choice of topics, technical means and in the development of visual language. At the end of the course, each student will be asked to choose from the work he or she has done during the lessons and to present a small personal exhibition, in a format of his choice, as part of a group exhibition of the whole class.
