Type and Illustration

The course will redraw the traditional line between design and illustration, smudge and reinvented it. Illustrators will work on integrating type into their langue of illustration, and designers will learn the art of image making. The course will include workshops in class as well as home assignments including book jackets, hand-drawn type, package design etc.
