Yara Tzach is the 2022 Ann and Ari Rosenblatt Visual Arts Award winner
Yara Tzach, a graduate of the Fine Arts Department and the Master of Fine Arts program, is the winner of the 2022 Ann and Ari Rosenblatt Award for Visual Arts.
Tzach is a multidisciplinary artist who moves between the local spaces and the personal space. In her works, she makes use of 'ready made' materials that undergo transformation, are disassembled, assembled, and rebonded into a mask of relationships between private and collective memory. She creates a fantastic world with its own identity and sign system that responds to changes and socio-political climatic variations.
During her years of activity, Tzach has created a personal language that finds its sources of inspiration in the human figure and traces the human consciousness and perception and brings up for discussion issues about the society and culture in which we live.
