Dear Students,

After the shocking morning we woke up to, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe. We yearn for the end of the war on all fronts and the return of the hostages. We mourn the dead and send wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. Alongside the easing of Home Front Command (Pikud Haoref) guidelines, we ask that you continue to act with vigilance and responsibility.

We were glad to hear about the meetings that took place this week on Zoom. We hope that the joint meeting and creative activity provide some breathing room during these days. As expected, more students were called up for reserve duty this week. We support you and will continue to do everything in our power to enable you to complete the semester when you return.

The Dean of Students staff is available to you at all times for counseling and personal guidance, emotional support, or help in coping.

Next week, between June 22-27, there will be no academic activity on campus. A few classes will be held online, with maximum consideration for students and concern for providing opportunities to complete assignments, for students who have been called up for reserve duty. In these classes, no new material that you would need to be tested on will be taught, and certainly no new assignments will be given. Complete information about the study plan and event schedule for this week will be sent to you by the department staff.

As we updated at the beginning of the week, we have decided at this stage to postpone most final submissions in order to provide the best conditions for completing your work. Submission dates will be communicated to you at least one week in advance. In any case, an alternative date will be made available for students in reserve duty and those dealing with various difficulties due to the security situation.

We aspire to hold the final project submissions physically and to conduct the graduates' exhibition. Therefore, for now, the opening date of the graduates' exhibition has been postponed. According to developments, we will act to the best of our ability to hold the graduates' exhibition at a later date.

For now, students are not permitted to enter the campus for the purpose of working in workshops and personal workspaces. We certainly understand the importance of this matter for you, and when it becomes possible, we will announce this immediately.

If there are no changes in the guidelines, we will update you again next Tuesday.

Hoping for quiet days and good news,

Prof. Adi Stern - President
Liat Brix-Etgar - Vice President
Avremi Torem - CEO
