A decade to the Great East Japan Disaster

The Department of Architecture hereby invites you to an international conference held in collaboration with the Department of Asian Studies at Haifa University: "A Decade to the Great East Japan Disaster". The conference will engage in the long term effects of the triple disaster – the earth quake, Tsunami and catastrophe at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station. 13 speakers from Israel, Japan, Canada, Italy and the United States will discuss the economy and energy policy, the nuclear cloud, the political dilemma, in the social organization, and the initiatives to rebuild the space.
