An exhibition of Bezalel works in Arts and Design is being held in Paris from September 17th -31st at the "Orangerie du Senate" which is a very prestigious location. The gala  opening of the exhibition took place on September 17th, was in the presence of Daniel Shek Israel's Ambassador in France,  Senator Philippe Richert, and Professor Arnon Zuckerman the President of Bezalel,  and included a dinner and reception attended by over 250 guests. The event and exhibition were organized by Bnai Brith of France led by Andre Nadjar and by the French Friends of Bezalel led by Zahava Aderi and Shaul Attias. The exhibition which was curated by Yona Fisher includes one hundred works of recent students and graduates along with descriptions of Bezalel's history as Israel's oldest academic institution and leader in arts and design. The exhibition will visit additional locations in Europe and in North America. During the opening event Bezalel presented Avigdor Arikha, a graduate of Bezalel in 1944 and world famous artist with the title of  "Yakir Bezalel".
