Date:
29.4.22

The Graduate Program in Urban Design invites you to a guest lecture as part of the course ‘Public Space – Public Sphere’, led by Dr. Erez Golani Solomon: Dr. Daniel Talesnik - Who’s Next? Homelessness, Architecture, and Cities

Homelessness is a growing global problem that requires local discussions and solutions. The homeless crisis is at historical peaks in many cities around the world. In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, it has noticeably become a collective concern. Although architecture alone cannot solve the problem of homelessness, the question arises: What and which roles can it play? The exhibition Who’s Next? Homelessness, Architecture, and Cities seeks to explore and understand this complex reality.

Dr. Daniel Talesnik is an architect and a curator at the Architekturmuseum of the Technische Universität München. He teaches at the TU Munich and has also taught at the Universidad Católica of Chile, Columbia University, and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
