The artist, a graduate of the Department of Photography and the Master's of Arts Program at Bezalel, Hadas Satt, is the winner of the Makov Award for the year 2021, named after the late Nira Makov, in collaboration with the Ashdod Museum of Art.

In her hands, the camera turns into a measuring tool, which embodies the real gap between the photographer's body and the world of phenomenon thus exposing, presenting and even erasing and cancelling it. She often photographs "engineered spaces" in parks and national gardens, which embody this gap as well – the dialectic space between nature and culture, and the constant tension between the wild and the artificial.
