Dr. Yuval Karminizer

Yuval Kremnitzer is a philosopher and cultural theorist. His research concerns technology, authority and the image: how power becomes visible, and how it hides. His book The Emperor’s New Nudity (MIT Press, 2024) argues that contemporary authoritarianism does not conceal its nakedness but proclaims it, drawing its power from the exposure. He wrote his doctorate at Columbia on Moses Mendelssohn, the pantheism controversy and the birth of nihilism.
