Update letter for students
These are tense and very worrying times. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and protected, and we want to strengthen and support you. We remind you again that we all stand by your side and are ready to help with any difficulty. You are welcome to contact the Student Dean's Office staff or the department staff, and we will do everything in our power to listen and provide assistance.
This week, between June 15-20, there will be no academic activity on campus. A small portion of classes will be held online, with maximum consideration for students and ensuring make-up opportunities for students who have been called up for military reserve duty. Given the unique characteristics of studies at Bezalel in general, and the submission period in particular, we have decided at this stage to postpone most submissions that were planned for this week. Complete information about the study plan and event schedule for this week will be sent to you by the department staff.
We are aware of the various difficulties you are facing, alongside the pressure associated with end-of-year submissions. We will ensure that submissions are held under conditions that will allow you optimal preparation for them. Your personal safety and that of your loved ones is currently our top priority.
We will update you on Thursday with the expected plan for next week.
Good tidings,
Prof. Adi Stern - President
Liat Briks-Etgar - Vice President
