Support and Accompaniment to those accepted
Studying at Bezalel is a fascinating personal educational journey, with countless possibilities and opportunities.
The Dean of Students Office coordinates care and support for students at the Academy and accompanies students on their journey of personal and professional achievement and development. This begins from day one and a great deal of thought has been invested in developing adjustment processes for first-year students of the Academy, so as to facilitate and enable each and every student to take full advantage of the opportunities before them.
The team at the Dean of Students Office offer supports and accompaniment on all levels: personal, academic, economic, social and multi-cultural, while promoting equal opportunities to all male and female students.
This page lists the main assistance and support channels available to students starting their journey at the Academy. In addition, here you will find the contact information of the team members of the Dean of Students Office.
Students are invited to contact the Dean’s Office with any question, request or problem they may have.
Personal counseling sessions are offered to help getting to know the student and together map areas of difficulties and supports best suited to the student’s needs. Our counselors are available to all students at Bezalel, from all degree programs and all years of study. Special attention is given to those who are just starting out at the Academy.

The Social Mentorship Absorption Program was developed as a result of a collaboration between the Dean of Students Office, the Student Union and Bezalel’s academic departments. As part of the Program, junior year students mentor and accompany incoming students joining their department. They help new students adjust to life at the Academy, are available for any questions, guidance or consultation and assist students in becoming familiar both with the Academy and its surroundings (from pointing out available services and supports to introducing them to places to hang out, shops of interest and the alike). Mentors help guide and refer students to the write person at the Academy as well as provide an attentive ear and initial point of contact and support.
