Vanina Saracino Artistic Research in the Antropocene

The course approaches artistic research as a distinct form of inquiry with its own methodology, tools, and ways of creating knowledge, in which expanded and experimental forms of fieldwork occupy a central role. Situated within the context of the Anthropocene and post-anthropocentric thought, the seminar examines artistic practices that challenge anthropocentric and binary worldviews, while exploring more-than-human perspectives and alternative ways of imagining just and livable futures.
